Blog Challenge Days 10-11

I guess I'm not doing so well on blogging every day. I better step up my game!

10-Google the meaning of your name and talk about how it fits or doesn’t fit you

From the English word heather for the variety of small shrubs
with pink or white flowers which commonly grow in rocky areas. It is
derived from Middle English hather. It was first used as a given
name in the late 19th century, though it did not become popular until
the last half of the 20th century.

My name doesn't really mean anything special. I'm just a small flower. But, it is a
pretty flower, and Gene Kelly sings about it in Brigadoon. :)

11-Your worst/funniest/most embarrassing date

Oh dear, I'm not sure which one I'm supposed to mention...or all maybe? Hmm.

I haven't been on that many dates in  my life. I'm not sure I even have an answer for all of those options.

The worst date I went on was probably with a guy named Mike. This was many
years ago and I almost forgot about it. He was a guy I was not terribly
interested in, but he had asked me out (I think it might've been the
second time, like I said, I almost forgot, so I don't remember too many
details...oh wait, it was our second date, but it had probably been a
year since our first one...I'm not sure he even remembered taking me out the
first time, no joke). We went to see a movie. I was not terribly
interested in the movie and at that time was still going back and forth
in my heart about Danny. The entire date I couldn't stop thinking about
how I would have given anything to be with Danny instead. At one point
Mike and I were talking in his car, he turned to me and put his hand on
my knee (um...I did NOT give him permission to touch me). I can still
see his face looking at me. It unsettles me to this very day (the main
reason I can even remember it).
It wasn't that terrible, but it was VERY uncomfortable.

The funniest date I've been on was a double date with my neighbor and our
crushes. We drove down to Salt Lake from Ogden to try out the new Five
Guys and In and Out burger places. Both were fairly new to Utah and we
decided we needed to have a contest to see which was better. We made up a
comparison sheet and took votes. It was so much fun. While at In and
Out we even got some of the hats. I still have the bumper sticker I got
from that night. It's hanging on my bulletin board. We went ice skating
between burger places and then when we got home we had ice cream. So,
there isn't anything super funny about it, but there were definitely
funny moments and it was probably the most fun I've had on a date.

The most embarrassing date... I honestly don't know what to put for this. I
got very embarrassed while on the date previously mentioned while ice
skating. My boots were too big and at one point my date had to tighten
my laces for me...but it was only embarrassing for me as I felt helpless
and was kind of mad because I could've tied them myself.

I don't have a ton of experiences to go off of for these subjects.
So, I guess that's it for now :)
